About Dr. Sammy Wyatt
Dr. Sammy Wyatt is a lifelong Louisianan and dedicated public servant whose life has been defined by a steadfast commitment to protecting and serving his community, state, and nation. A Navy veteran and former law enforcement officer with more than two decades of experience, Sammy earned his MBA from Centenary College of Louisiana and his Ph.D in Human Resource Education from Louisiana State University. Chief Compliance Officer and Investigation Officer for LSU Health-Shreveport, where he is responsible for identifying and reducing waste, fraud, and abuse. Dr. Sammy Wyatt is a member of First Bossier Bossier Church in Bossier City and Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge.

Securing America’s Borders
Dr. Sammy Wyatt believes in putting American citizens first—no exceptions. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris turned a blind eye to the dangers of illegal immigration, allowing millions of violent criminals to cross our border unchecked. From violent gang members to the influx of drugs and fentanyl, reckless liberal border policies are destroying American communities.
A career law enforcement officer and Navy Veteran, Sammy understands the real threat posed by allowing these criminals into our country unchecked. In Washington, he will work alongside President Trump to build the wall, deport criminal illegals, and ensure Americans are put first, not terrorists from the Middle East or South and Central America.
Protecting Women’s Sports
Women are women. Men are men. That is basic biology. As the Title IX Coordinator for a public university, Dr. Sammy Wyatt has seen the consequences of the left’s attempts to normalize transgender men taking advantage of women for their own gain.

Sammy believes that everyone is made in the image of God. Protecting women’s sports is about more than just fairness; it is about ensuring female athletes have the same opportunities for success as male athletes. In Washington, Dr. Sammy Wyatt will stand up for women’s sports and women’s rights and fight to keep men out of their spaces, protecting women and children across the country.
Supporting DOGE and President Trump’s America First Agenda
Sammy has always been a strong supporter of President Trump and his America First Agenda. Having lived the American dream, Sammy has seen how policies like securing our borders and strengthening the economy benefit hardworking Americans. Sammy understands what it’s like to put in a long day’s work, and he’s committed to making sure that the blue-collar workers who help keep this country running are always a priority.
Unlike his opponent, who voted to impeach President Trump, Sammy will always fight alongside President Trump. In the Senate, Dr. Sammy Wyatt will work with Republicans to continue the work of securing our borders, strengthening the economy, and protecting American families. As a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, and being Certified in Healthcare Compliance, Sammy will go to work on Day One to eliminate the waste, fraud, and abuse highlighted by DOGE from our budget.

His faith has taught him the value of every life, and his time serving in the Navy and as a police officer reinforced his commitment to protecting it. Sammy plans to bring these deeply held values to the Senate, where he will continue to stand up for the unborn and push for strong anti-abortion policies that reflect his belief in the sanctity of life.

A strong supporter of our Second Amendment, Dr. Sammy Wyatt will always fight to protect that right from the radical left. As a federally licensed firearms dealer and business owner, Sammy understands the importance of gun ownership and believes that every Louisianan should have the right to protect themselves and their families.

A former law enforcement officer with more than two decades of experience, including being a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (S.W.A.T.) for over five years, Sammy has seen the important role firearms play in keeping families safe. In the Senate, Sammy will fight to make sure our right to keep and bear arms is never threatened and that our safety and freedom remain a top priority.

Dr. Sammy Wyatt truly represents the American Dream. From serving in the Navy to working as a welder and eventually becoming Director of Investigations and a Chief Compliance Officer and Investigation Officer for a public university, he embodies the vision, optimism, and aspiration of Louisianans. Sammy understands that the economy needs to work for people like him—the ones who roll up their sleeves and get the job done. He fully supports President Trump’s efforts to bring back manufacturing and blue-collar jobs to combat inflation, expand economic opportunity, and ease the cost of living for families across Louisiana.
As Chief Compliance Officer and Investigation Officer, Dr. Sammy Wyatt was the administrator of his university’s very own DOGE department. Identifying waste, fraud, and abuse to ease the burden on students and taxpayers alike. He has seen firsthand the important role cutting wasteful spending plays in ensuring opportunity arises.

A proud Navy veteran, Dr. Sammy Wyatt understands the toll active duty service has on the brave men and women of our armed forces. In Washington, Sammy will cut the bureaucratic red tape to streamline processes and ensure our veterans receive the care and resources they earned.
A staunch supporter of Secretary Pete Hegseth and the Department of Defense, Dr. Sammy Wyatt will ensure they have the tools and investment necessary to keep our country safe and our veterans taken care of. As Louisiana's next Senator, Sammy will ensure these departments have the training to address the mental health and physical challenges facing our veterans.

Politicians on both sides of the aisle have let their political aspirations cloud their judgment and diminished their moral compass. When Democrats engaged in lawfare against President Donald Trump and tried to impeach him without grounds, it was up to the Senate to stand up and embrace the long-held traditions and standards of our nation. Unfortunately, when it came time to act, Senator Cassidy sided with the radical left and voted to indict President Donald Trump.
